David Brandenburg

• Over 50 years of experience as a removable dental technician. He is a Veteran and received his technical training in the U.S. Air Force. After working as a removable dental lab technician and Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dave opened Custom Prosthetics, Inc. in 1985.

• Dave has been trained in Swissedent and attended one of the first Branemark Systems Laboratory Techniques course at UCLA. He has attended numerous advanced courses in principles of Osseointegration, CAD/CAM technology, and is an ongoing participant in courses with the prestigious Kois Center. In 2007 he created a study group on prosthetic overviews. He has lectured for numerous professional groups including the San Luis Obispo Oral Surgery Group, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and Prosthetic Roundtable Group. He has also taught all-on-four techniques for Straumann.

• After 30+ years of owning Custom Prosthetics Inc., Dave joined California Dental Arts (CDA) in 2016 where he currently managed CDA‘s Removable Prosthetics Division in San Ramon. Dave retired in 2026.

• His retirement only lasted a few months and he now has enthusiastically has engaged in the establishment of a boutique style lab service.

Dr. Larry Napolitano

Dr. Napolitano graduated with honors from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1984. His practice strives to provide a full range of services and he has completed countless hours of continuing education in pursuit of excellence in care. Larry offers a full range of care ranging from pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, dental sleep medicine, laser periodontal surgery, root canals and all facets of restorative dentistry. The strength of his practice is not just based on his deep understanding of dentistry. Dr. Napolitano is committed to ensuring he has the right team in place. His office staff is truly second to none. Dave has been an important part of the team so it seemed a natural next step to continue to work closely together.
